ABSTRACT. Clathrates of fullerute C60 with n-pentane, n-hexane, n-heptane, n-octane, and n-nonane are synthesized, and their properties are studied using XRD, DSC, TGA, and 1H NMR methods. The C60-n-hexane is found to differ from other clathrates in the structure; the hcp phase forms on its thermolysis, while other clathrates result in a distorted fcc phase.
